Valentine’s Day

Anoushka Probyn Fashion Personal Style Blog - Valentine's Day London Diary

I couldn’t resist sharing a few photos of the beautiful restaurant Max and I went to for Valentine’s day, called Le QuecumBar in Battersea. It’s a local 1930’s Parisian style brasserie with tons of atmosphere, and it always looks this pretty, not just for Valentine’s!

It was unsurprisingly jam-packed on the 14th, but on a regular day it’s lovely to go have a leisurely meal and a bottle of wine whilst listening to live music. Though the food is good you definitely go more for the overall ambiance. In summer there’s a gorgeous garden with fairy lights and greenery everywhere, which I’m looking forward to frequenting when the weather improves!

What did you get up to this Valentine’s? Did you brave the restaurants’ painful prices, or stay in and take it easy? Next year I’m thinking of celebrating with a box set and takeout pizza!
